AIA/Akron Insurance Associates was founded on the principle of providing our community with the best personalized service, combined with the most appropriate and competitive insurance products available.

Akron Insurance has been in business since 1960 under the same ownership. In December 2001, Martha P Weaver, CIC purchased the Akron Insurance Associates and combined the two books to form AIA/Akron Insurance Associates.

With more than 50 years of combined experience, our staff has the experience and industry knowledge to help fulfill all of your insurance and risk management needs. We understand not just the underwriting process, but also the rating and classification of risks, billing, and claims processes.

We are small enough to provide you with the personalized service you deserve, yet large enough to provide markets for virtually any risk.

Although AIA/Akron Insurance Associates is not a large agency, our affiliations with American Insurance Administrators, Inc. (www.aiaworld.com) and The Alliance of Central PA (www.tiacp.com) provide us with access to almost all major markets. This is quite an asset in the ever-evolving insurance marketplace.
